Jerry Rabushka, the artistic director at Ragged Blade, has written a musical about a musical — about the thwarted love of a gay couple who are Israeli and Palestinian. The show-within-a-show seems to take second place to "offstage" antics involving rival playwrights, kidnapped actors and warring productions. Some of the music is hip-hop. Go figure.
